Pixilib, a look back at the first year

At the end of 2022, Pixilib celebrates its first anniversary, an opportunity for a quick retrospective on our operations.

A busy year, but one with plenty of momentum.

2022 was the year GaelO took off; we launched 5 studies over this year alone, these being conducted by 3 different institutions.

The arrival of new promoters allowed us to validate our adaptability to different structures, which have heterogeneous needs and operational capacities. Thus, these new collaborations have led us to develop tools for automatic synchronization of patient inclusions from a clinical e-CRF; they have also allowed us to develop solutions for new types of imaging such as centralization of treatment plans in radiotherapy and fundus imaging.

Of the 3 new institutions with whom we have initiated collaboration, two of them are already talking about setting up new studies. In the course of this year, we have collected the opinions of our users who have shared with us their satisfaction (> 90%) and their ideas for improving our solution.

Pixilib has thus set up a unique collaboration with research structures to develop tools that are best adapted to the real needs of research actors. More than ever, Pixilib will continue to develop this unique approach of collaboration, reflection and co-construction in order to develop new reference software for clinical research.

This year has also been a year of heavy investment, especially concerning the development of version 2 of GaelO, which is a complete rewriting of the platform. GaelO 2 is a new reference platform, which takes up the successes of GaelO 1 by adding optimizations at all levels (speed, intuitiveness, efficiency, design) and which will allow long-term evolution to co-construct the most efficient tool in imaging for clinical research.

Beyond GaelO 2, we have also established new collaborations with major projects in medical imaging in order to prepare new and innovative services in the next years.
