{"id":1080,"date":"2026-07-03T15:36:34","date_gmt":"2026-07-03T13:36:34","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/gaelo.fr\/?p=1080"},"modified":"2026-07-03T15:36:34","modified_gmt":"2026-07-03T13:36:34","slug":"amarhelis","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/gaelo.fr\/en\/2026\/07\/03\/amarhelis\/","title":{"rendered":"AMARHELIS, 1st published study conducted with GaelO"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><strong>Dr. Amira Marouf<\/strong> has just published the results of the <strong>AMARHELIS<\/strong>\u00a0study (Adcetris Maintenance after Autologous stem cell transplantation in Hodgkin lymphoma: a Real-Life Study) in Hematologica. This is <strong>our first study carried out with GaelO<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p>In this retrospective study, the impact of BV (brentuximab vedotin) in refractory or early relapsed Hodgkin&#8217;s disease was evaluated. This is a rare and clinically relevant situation: While almost 90% of Hodgkin&#8217;s lymphomas are curable nowadays, 10-20% are faced with refractory disease for which there is still a major therapeutic challenge.<\/p>\n<p>We provided a GaelO platform for the <strong>centralization and analysis of the imaging<\/strong>\u00a0of this cohort.<\/p>\n<p>This study confirms the <strong>efficacy of BV<\/strong>\u00a0compared to historical cohorts and validates the prognostic value of 18FDG PET\/CT before autotransplantation. The presence of a <strong>complete response on PET is predictive of PFS<\/strong>\u00a0(Progression Free Survival) and OS (Overall Survival).<\/p>\n<p>This study is the <strong>first published study using GaelO<\/strong> as a platform for <strong>centralization and image interpretation<\/strong>.<br \/>\nThis study was conducted under unusual conditions, <strong>launched in full confinement<\/strong>\u00a0in the spring of 2020 and conducted in <strong>record time (6 months)<\/strong>.<br \/>\nThis study was made possible thanks to the mobilization of the supervisory teams, the <strong>LYSARC<\/strong>\u00a0clinical research assistants and the radiologists who carried out this project in the middle of an unprecedented health crisis.<br \/>\nAs a result, the <strong>AMARHELIS study was published in Haematologica (Impact Factor &gt; 10)<\/strong>, one of the <strong>most prestigious journals<\/strong>\u00a0in hematology.<br \/>\nWe are particularly <strong>proud <\/strong>to have participated in the successful completion of this study, a further illustration of the q<strong>uality of academic clinical trial<\/strong>.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Dr. Amira Marouf has just published the results of the AMARHELIS study (Adcetris Maintenance after Autologous stem cell transplantation in Hodgkin lymphoma: a Real-Life Study) in Hematologica.
